Well, you have to bring it here in pieces, or in one big package. Probably easier to move one rock, than thousands of little pieces, not to mention the cost of processing at a large distance.
That's just my take. You do have to remember that mines do make big messes however! Oh well, who needs Florida? Just one little (giant!) hole in the middle!
